Cox's Bazar sea beach is one of the most attractive sea beach in the world for it’s miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, surfing waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples and tribes, delightful seafood--this is Cox's Bazar. The warm shark free waters are good for bathing and swimming & while the sandy beaches offer opportunities for sun-bathing. The beauty of the setting-sun behind the waves of the sea is simply captivating.
Cox's Bazar sea beach is the capital of tourist spot in Bangladesh.Cox's Bazar sea beach also known for it’s wide sandy beach which is also the world’s largest natural sea beach. It is 125 km long sandy sea beach and gentle slop. Beside the beach has long forest of tamarisk tree it also increase the beauty of beach. Beside the beach there has tribal Rakhyne they made cigars and handloom products of the tribal Rakhyne families are good buys. Every year lots of foreign & local tourist come here to spend their leisure in Cox's Bazar. Though the season is in winter but Cox's Bazar sea beach is crowded almost through out the year. If any one really like adventure and want to enjoy the wildness and madness of the ruff and tuff Sea you can come to Cox's bazar in the month of mid April, Sea continue its wildness till August.

The Cox's Bazar sea beach is the quickly rising tourist spot for Bangladesh. During the months of September and October the beach can get very crowded. A favorite activity in Cox's Bazar is watching the sun set. Beside the beauty of beach there are also a few very old wooden Buddhist temples at Ramu, a few kilometers from Cox's Bazar, it is also well worth visiting place. Besides, the longest sea-beach, Cox's Bazar and its adjoin areas have a lot of things to see and places deserve visit by the tourists.Himchari It is about 32 km. South of Cox's Bazar along the beach, a nice place for picnic, there also the famous "Broken Hills" and waterfalls here are rare sights.Inani It is about 32 km. South of Cox's Bazar and just on the beach, with the sea to the west and a background of steep hills to the east. Inani casts a magic spell on those who step into that dreamland. It is only half an hour's drive from Cox's Bazar and an ideal place for Sea bathing and picnic.
Another beautiful place in cox's bazar is Maheskhali, it is an island off the coast of Cox's Bazar. It has an area of 268 square kilometers. Through the centre of the island and along the eastern coast line rises a range of low hills, 300 feet high; but the coast to the west and north is a lowlying treat, fringed by mangrove jungle. In the hills on the coast is built the shrine of Adinath, dedicated to siva. Beside on the same hill is Buddhist Pagoda.
There is a typical Buddhist village in cox's bazar is ramu, about 16 km. from Cox's Bazar.There are monasteries, khyangs and pagodas containing images of Buddha in gold, bronze and other metals inilaid with precious stones.One of the most interesting of these temples is on the bank of the Baghkhali river. It houses not only interesting relics and Burmes handicrafts but also a large bronze statue of Buddha measuring thirteen feet high and rests on a six feet high pedestal. The wood carving of this khyang is very delicate and refined.The village has a charm of its own. Weavers play there trade in open workshops and craftsmen make handmade cigars in their pagoda like houses.

SUNDARBAN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND BIGGEST FOREST IN THE WORLD
Sundarbans is the biggest mangrove forest in the world. The name Sundarban can be literally translated as "beautiful jungle" or "beautiful forest" in the Bengali language The name may have been derived from the Sundari trees that are found in Sundarbans in large numbers. The Sundarbans stands in the south-east tidal area of Bangladesh. Sundarbans surrounding in the costal area of the Bangladesh. The Sundarbans along the Bay of Bengal has evolved over the millenarian through natural deposition of upstream sediments accompanied by intertidal segregation.
The Sundarbans play an important role in the economy of the southwestern region of Bangladesh as well as in the national economy. It is the single largest source of forest produce in the country. The forest provides raw material for wood based industries. In addition to traditional forest produce like timber, fuelwood, pulpwood etc , large scale harvest of non wood forest products such as thatching materials, honey, bees-wax, fish, crustacean and mollusk resources of the forest takes place regularly. The vegetated tidal lands of the Sundarbans also function as an essential habitat, nutrient producer, water purifier, nutrient and sediment trap, storm barrier, shore stabilizer, energy storage unit and aesthetic attraction.
The forest also has immense protective and productive functions. Constituting 51% of the total reserved forest estate of Bangladesh it contributes about 41% of total forest revenue and accounts for about 45% of all timber and fuel wood output of the country . A number of industries (e.g. newsprint mill, match factory, hardboard, boat building, furniture making) are based on the raw material obtained from the Sundarbans ecosystem. Various non-timber forest products and plantations help generate considerable employment and income generation opportunities for at least half a million poor coastal population. Besides production functions of the forest, it provides natural protection to life and properties of the coastal population in cyclone prone Bangladesh.
Sundarbans has huge types of trees, wild animals and birds. Sundori, kayora, goran, bayen, dundol are the valuable plants of sundorbon.The Sundarbans is very rich in wildlife. Sundarbans has lots of wild animals and birds, the world famous Royal Bengal tiger are found in this forest, the most beautiful spotted deer, crocodile, wild cock, python, monkey, snacks and different kinds of birds. Three are 360 tigers in Sundarbans nowadays the Royal Bengal Tigers are losing day by day so, Bangladesh Forest Department starting The Sundarban Tiger project for save the tigers . The idea for creating such a project was first developed during a field survey in 2001 conducted by Md. Osman Gani, Ishtiaq U. Ahmad, James L. D. Smith and K. Ullas Karanth. They realized that the Sundarbans mangrove forest at the mouth of the Ganges River contained probably one of the largest populations of wild tigers left in the world. As such, there was an urgent need to start measures that would ensure the protection of this precious area.The Save the Tiger Fund and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service generously donated funds to support the initial phase of research that aims to collect data on tiger ecology using telemetry, and study the tiger’s environment by assessing its habitat and prey.
Now Sundarbans is attested in the world heritage site of UNESCO. There is a lot of tourist spot in Sundarban such as kotka, Hiron point, herbaria tourism center, jalkor dublar choar etc.
